Foiled robbery at Honkong Shopping mall Mpesa
Four individuals armed with Ceska pistols stormed in a busy
Mpesa at popular shopping mall on Eastleigh’s first avenue at 1.45pm. The
attendant resisted which prompted them to fire a shot on air. Fortunately an administration
officers on street patrol responded immediately.
Two of the gang members were shot dead in a fire exchange that ensued. Others are believed
to have escaped with injury.
Confirming the incident Pangani station police DCIO said
cases of robbery with violence is on the rise in Eastleigh and his officers are on
high alert.
‘A week ago we nabbed 6 members of a notorious organized
gang . Two of whom were police officers’ added Mr Serenoi.
The two officer and four of their accomplices are now in remand awaiting for court proceedings.

A freelance journalist who was at the scene of robbery told
this blog , ‘ A police officer and three members of the public who were also
injured in the foiled attack were rushed to Togdheer hospital’
Among the victims are two women one Somali college girl and an elderly lady.
Few month ago the president ordered closure of all second
