Foiled robbery at Hongkong Shopping mall Mpesa

Four individuals armed with Ceska pistols stormed in a busy Mpesa at popular shopping mall on Eastleigh’s first avenue at 1.45pm. The attendant resisted which made them to fire a shot on air. Fortunately an administration officers on street patrol responded immediately.
Two of the gang members were shot dead. Others are believed to have escaped with injury.

Confirming the incident Pangani station police DCIO said cases of violence with robbery is on the rise in Eastleigh and officers are on high alert.

A freelance journalist who was at the scene of robbery told this blog , ‘ A police officer and two members of the public who were also injured in the foiled attack were rushed to Togdheer hospital’


Few month ago the president ordered closure of all second generation selling outlet a move that was criticized by security expert that if proper rehabilitation and mechanism is not followed this will draw youth to extreme idleness and could increase crime in area near slums.
